This is the premier bullet for long range target shooting. The thinner jacket allows my barrel to engrave the bearing surface a little deeper which helps to stabilize the bullet a little better. And also the ballistic coefficient of the hunting bullet is marginally better due to the meplat being closed to .050 vs the target bullet which is .070
