Payment Policy

Credit Card & Debit Card Payments
As a form of payment we accept both credit card and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. All transactions occur on a Encrypted Secure Servers that meet or exceed the requirements of the credit card industry. Customers may rest assured that online transactions are 100% safe.

Upon checkout our system will authorize the transaction with the card holder’s bank to assure that funds are available for the purchase. This process will reserve these funds for the completion of the transaction at a later time. However, OutdoorOutfitters.com will not capture the funds until your items are confirmed to be available and your order is ready to be shipped. There are some exceptions to this procedure including special order item purchases or purchases that include layaway payment plans. If the buyer uses a Debit Card the issuing bank may place a hold on the funds at the time of pre-authorization.

Credit Card Verification
All orders placed at OutdoorOutfitters.com go thru a vigorous screening to confirm their validity. Our verification process uses both automated and manual systems and our company reserves the right to place any order on hold or to cancel orders base upon the findings of our screens. OutdoorOutfitters.com may directly contact purchaser or purchaser’s credit card issuing bank to assist in the verification process.

Check Payment Policy
Customers are welcome to pay by check. However, US Postal Money Orders are the only type of check payment that will result in immediate shipment. Bank Checks are also acceptable; however immediate shipment will only be made if checks validity can be confirmed by calling the issuing bank.

Customers may pay by Personal Check however, it is not recommended as shipping delays will occur. Orders paid by personal checks require a minimum of 10 business days to clear our bank. No customer orders paid by personal check will be shipped prior to this 10 business day time period.

Credit Card & Debit Card Credits
Our staff works to timely process returns as they arrive at our place of business. You can expect that returns will be processed by our staff within seven calendar days from date of arrival. Credit card refunds will be done at time of processing. However, most banks do not post these credits to their client’s accounts for several days or longer.

Return Policy

OutdoorOutfitters.com wants our customers to be completely happy with their purchases. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your order you may return it for any reason within 30 days from date of delivery for a full refund, (less all shipping charges incurred by us during the initial shipment). All items must be returned in new condition in the original box, with all of the original packaging and product information. OutdoorOutfitters.com reserves the right to impose a 15% restocking fee or refuse a refund/exchange on any sale for items that have any indication of use, or which are returned without all product or packaging information.

If you have your product for over 30 days and become aware of a manufactures defect, please refer to the manufactures warranty statement and contact the manufacturer directly. If you have any problems with the manufacturer or need any assistance contacting them we will be glad to help you.

What to include: Return authorization numbers are not required for order returns. However, please include a copy of the original invoice with your return along with a good contact phone number.

Rifle Scope Return Policy: Rifle scopes may be returned within 30 days so long as they have not been mounted, (placing the scope in rings or attaching to a weapon constitutes mounting). Once mounted a rifle scope is considered used and used products are not eligible for refund, exchange, or return. Please be sure that this is the scope you want prior to mounting. If the scope is suspected of being defective after mounting or after 30 days it must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service.

Ammunition & Ammunition Components Return Policy: For security and safety ammunition or components of ammunition, commonly referred to reloading supplies, are not eligible for refund, exchange, or return. Please check your items carefully prior to ordering, if you need assistance please call 985-310-2280.

Special Order Items Return Policy: Items listed or sold as special order items are not eligible for refund, exchange, or return.

Cost of Return Service: Clients are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Important Note about Insurance: For your protection all items returned to us should be insured with the carrier for the full retail value of the item. OutdoorOutfitters.com assumes no responsibility or liability for returns that are not delivered and received by our staff at our place of business or other return locations. It is very important that all returns be insured!

International Orders

We appreciate the opportunity to serve your international business. However, we are only able to serve international buyers who can provide delivery address within the United States and who pay for their orders by bank wire transfer. Please note that we do not sell riflescopes, gun sights, rangefinders or night vision products to non US Citizens even if they provide a delivery address within the United States or wish to use a US Citizen as a purchase intermediary. Please read our Export Restriction Policy below.

Export Restriction Policy:

Riflescopes, gun sights, rangefinders and night vision products, and technologies are subject to one or more of the U.S. export control laws and regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, or the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It is unlawful and strictly prohibited to engage in conduct requiring a license or other approval from the proper U.S. Department without such license or approval. Such conduct includes, but is not limited to, the export, or attempt to export or otherwise transfer or sell any commodity, product or technical data, or furnishing any service to any foreign party, whether abroad or in the United States. Diversion to a U.S. intermediary to circumvent export restrictions is also illegal. Violation of U.S. export regulations may result in civil and criminal fines and penalties to include imprisonment.
